Andor is good for more than just Star Wars

  Hollywood, I hope we are learning the right lessons from Cassian Andor, our eyes on the ground in a universe burdened by tyranny where even the agents of said tyranny are themselves victims. At its core, Andor is a perspective, we see the world which Cassian inhabits through his eyes. Such a perspective would be similarly beneficial in other sci-fi and fantasy worlds, allowing them to be explored in their full depth, rather than the characters own journeys and agendas interfering with this experience, a protagonist like Hester Shaw could be refined through the way her worldview impacts those around her. (AI generated content ahead) That's why I think Mortal Engines deserves a second chance as a miniseries, similar to Andor . A miniseries would allow more time and space to explore the world and its history, to develop the characters and their relationships, and to create a more coherent and satisfying story arc. It sure is hard to thrive without Microsoft Powerpoint

Since 2015, Microsoft PowerPoint has been my primary work horse for conceptualization. It has been able to serve all of my graphic design needs, that is, until Microsoft shoved a per-month paywall in front of it. Now I need to move on towards a future without it, and that is far easier said than done.   What did I use PowerPoint for? What didn't I use it for? With enough practice, it could be used to mock-up graphical user interfaces, and the opening credits for movies. Though this may nit have been its intended use, PowerPoint is great at more than just slideshows. Getting to heaven on roller-skates - part 0: Content overview

  The structure of the argument I will present here will follow a similar pattern used by John Stewart Mill in Utilitarianism , though my purpose in presenting this argument is not to assert any particular moral theory but a potential roadmap for applying character ethics. Some credit is due to my friend Alice Nyarko who was instrumental in formulating this particular roadmap. The following series of articles will be arranged in the following order (and this page will be updated with Hyperlinks as these articles are published):  I will present my main argument using an example. I will entertain objections to my main argument. I will present another example from real life to add clarity. I will refine the above roadmap so that it is more applicable to interpersonal interactions. I will provide some background information explaining how my main argument took shape.
